Looking to get healthier? Want to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet?
Juice it!
Green Goddess
1 spear broccoli
½ cucumber
½ green pepper
2 sprigs fresh parsley (see Caution)
Using a juicer, process broccoli, cucumber, parsley and pepper. Whisk and pour into glass.
Caution: Parsley should be avoided during pregnancy and in cases of kidney inflammation.
Apple Beet Pear
2 apples
1 pear
3 beets, tops intact
½ lemon
1 half-inch (1cm) piece gingerroot
Using a juicer, process apples, pear, beets, beet tops, lemon and ginger. Whisk and pout into 1 large or 2 smaller glasses.
