Very Cherry Smoothie

'Making smoothies with milk, yogurt, tofu or fortified soy milk is a good way to add bone-building calcium and protein to your diet. And, it makes a most refreshing summer drink,' says Pat Crocker, author of The Smoothies Bible, Second Edition!
Makes 1
Ingredients
1 | can (12 oz /375 mL) pitted cherries in juice 1 | |
1⁄2 cup | cherry-flavored or plain yogurt 125 mL | |
1⁄4 cup | frozen raspberries 50 mL | |
4 | frozen yogurt or skim milk cubes 4 |
Instructions
In a blender, combine cherries with juice, yogurt, raspberries and yogurt cubes. Secure lid and process using the chop or pulse function until smooth.
TIP
Milk may be frozen in ice-cube trays, and the crushed cubes can be used in smoothies.
